It was to be the only concert by Queen that was ever shot on film. Always a great live band, with arguably the greatest frontman of all time in Freddie Mercury, they excelled themselves with the cameras rolling. The picture has been digitally restored from the original film and the sound has been newly mixed and mastered for DTS Surround Sound and PCM Stereo from the original multitrack tapes. Following their record-breaking South American tour, the Montreal shows on 24 and 25 November 1981 were to be the only concerts by Queen ever shot on film - indeed they were the first group to shoot an entire show in full cinema format 35mm. Amtrak California Zephyr Train trip part 1

I made this video on board the Amtrak California Zephyr line train No. 5 during a Westbound trip from Denver, Colorado to Provo, Utah. (The Amtrak California Zephyr train route is between Chicago and San Francisco and crosses the Rocky Mountain range.) This video (Part 1) that I made is a mainly a walk through tour in the coach class section inside the train, including the lounge car. I noticed that they now have tables installed in the upper level of the lounge car. Part 2 video is mainly of video taken out the window of scenery up in the Rocky Mountain range shortly after the train left Denver. The camera I used was a Sony DSC-H2 digital still camera used in MPEG video mode. Stunt cars, camera cars, tow cars, dolly cars, and cars used for "beauty" shots varied in model year from 1974 to 1976 Ford Torinos, since the body style of the Gran Torino was unchanged. Originally, Blinn was to have Starsky drive a Chevrolet Camaro convertible because he fondly remembered a green and white one that he owned. However, when production started on the pilot episode, Ford Motor Company's Studio-TV Car Loan Program was the lease supplier for Spelling-Goldberg. They looked at lease stock and chose two 1975 351 Windsor V8-powered (VIN code "H") "Bright Red" (paint code 2B) 2-door Gran Torinos. Both cars had a 'role' in the pilot movie, one being "Starsky's" car, and the other being a similar car which is mistaken for Starsky's car by the film's villains. They each had body-side moldings along with a black interior with vinyl bench seats. Interestingly, one of the 'pilot' cars had the 'luxury' remote-control chrome mirrors installed, while the other 'pilot' car had the cheaper, entry-level manual chrome mirrors installed; in editing the film, Starsky and Hutch are shown to be driving around in each of the two cars at different times during the film. Tulsa Story :This is a video pictorial of the 1957 Plymouth Belvedere that was buried in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 15, 1957 as a time capsule. It was uncovered 50 years later on June 15, 2007. I was hoping to see a pristine version of "Miss Belvedere", but as it turned out, the vault leaked and filled with water, causing much damage to the automobile. As a car enthusiast, I watched the story develop over the past few years. I waited and watched it live online as she was extracted from the ground. When I saw the rust-colored dirt and muck on her, I had a bad feeling about her condition. I wish the person who won this car (by guessing the closest to the town's actual 2007 population back in 1957) could have it restored, but that would be a massive undertaking.
